This tool provides users with the precise time of day by utilizing a special internet time protocol to fetch the time from an atomic time server.

We are pleased to introduce version 5 of the Gorgy Timing Atomic Clock. This program has remained a classic application since its early days in the Apple App Store and has continuously improved based on valuable user feedback.

The Gorgy Timing Atomic Clock accurately displays the current time by utilizing a special internet time protocol to retrieve the ultimate precise time from cesium atomic clocks available on the internet or any other preferred time server.

The graphical display closely mimics the clock display of the renowned Gorgy Timing clocks, which are utilized in professional radio and television studios. We have dedicated significant efforts to replicate the original feel of these high-end clocks on your iPhone. This app is trusted and used by various professionals such as BBC studios, astronomers, and concert promoters.

Version 5 includes the following features:

 <li>Universal support for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 8 or higher (including iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, and all the latest iPads and iPad Pros)</li>
 <li>Optimized for iOS 13 and watchOS 6 with full 64-bit support</li>
 <li>Alarm function with snooze (touch anywhere on the screen), volume fade-in, based on weekdays</li>
 <li>Alarm time based on seconds (not minutes)</li>
 <li>Local time / UTC time mode</li>
 <li>Alarm notification window instead of normal alarm sound when app is not running or in the background</li>
 <li>Ability to use playlists or manually select alarm sounds from your own music library</li>
 <li>The alarm sounds even when the device is muted or the display is switched off, and it works with AirPlay environments as well</li>
 <li>Customizable time server sources</li>
 <li>Various color options available for digits, seconds, and segments including green, red, blue, yellow, white, dark green, violet, pink, orange, turquoise, and hidden</li>
 <li>Alternative visual display of fractional seconds with a resolution of 1/60th of a second</li>
 <li>12/24 hour display options</li>
 <li>Optional second tick sound</li>
 <li>Full landscape support (including settings dialog)</li>
 <li>Status bar and buttons fade out when the display is touched</li>
 <li>Current date automatically displayed when the display is touched again (in all orientations)</li>
 <li>Disabled screen auto-lock</li>
 <li>Options for automatic syncing at startup, hourly, daily intervals or manual syncing through a sync button</li>
 <li>The last known time delta is used when starting without sync</li>
 <li>"Night mode" feature that dims the display using a slider, displays seconds with only one dot (to prevent a sudden brightness change from second 59 to second 0), turns off the tick sound, and reduces screen updates to save battery power</li>
 <li>To minimize burn-in effects particularly on iPhone X OLED displays, the clock implements micro movements when running for longer than 5 minutes</li>
 <li>VoiceOver support</li>

Answers to common questions:

<ul>
 <li>An application cannot set your device's system time, therefore a time sync between the atomic time and device time is not possible.</li>
 <li>If you wish to wake up with music, please refrain from exiting the app prior to going to sleep as it will result in a local notification dialog without music in the morning. Also, avoid locking your device. It's important to note that running an application continuously, even without the display, consumes battery power, so ensure your iPhone is fully charged before going to bed, connect it to a charger, or make use of the app's energy-saving Night mode.</li>
